Week 5, Part IV

Receptive Gates – Will Center

About Gates: each one represents a different archetypal theme. Every gate/theme is inherently neutral and can be experienced or expressed in either beneficial/positive or detrimental/negative ways. Everyone experiences all gates/themes in different ways throughout their lifetime.

My experiences of the themes of Will Gates 40 & 51 will be variable, inconsistent, and dependent on the people I’m with. If I notice these variations, I’ll know that I’m picking up on signals generated by those around me. I can use the descriptions below to help me identify what I’m experiencing and the source, which will help me gain clarity. If I want to test whether something I’m experiencing is “mine,” I can give myself some space and gauge what changes.

If I regularly take time to connect with myself, I’ll become aware of external influence as it happens and process it as information about the people around me without allowing it to obfuscate what I know to be true about myself.

Relationships with people who have Will Gate 40 activated will complete a connected channel for me (with 37) and give me the experience of Will activation similar to those with Gate 44 or 45 activated; more details are in the description for my Creative Center. The experience of Will activation will be felt most strongly in Gates 21 (Self-Regulation) and 26 (Integrity).

Since I’ll be electromagnetically drawn toward people with Gate 40 activated, I should pay extra attention to the difference between novice and wise expression so I’ll be aware when I’m feeling pulled toward one or the other and actively choose what I want to experience. For instance, if I’m very drawn toward someone but notice novice signals for Gate 40, I’ll have awareness that it’s probably the electromagnetic Gate that’s attracting me and recognize what pitfalls are likely to play out if I pursue that relationship (this includes friendships, business partnerships, etc.).

If I strongly identify with the novice or wise expression of these Gates, then I probably grew up with that conditioning influence and am expressing it through memory or have recreated those influences around me, either consciously or unintentionally.

40: Gate of Restoration (electromagnetic)

Resiliency keys: self-worth, vitality, empowerment

Novice Expression (“Loneliness”)

• Martyrdom
• Loneliness and blaming that causes me to compromise what I need
• Trying to prove my value by overdoing and over-giving

Wisdom and Optimal Expression (“Deliverance” leads to “Restoration”)

• Retreating as a way of replenishing my inner and outer resources
• Bringing my renewed Self back into the community when I’m ready so that I have more to give

51: Gate of Initiation

Resiliency keys: self-worth, vitality, empowerment

Novice Expression (“Shock”)

• Letting the shock of disruption cause me to lose connection with my true purpose and with Source
• Becoming bitter or angry with “God”; losing faith
• Trying to control life and depleting myself

Wisdom and Optimal Expression (“The Arousing” leads to “Initiation”)

• Consciously using cycles of disruption and unexpected twists and turns of faith as catalysts that deepen my connection to Source and to my life/soul purpose

Affirmations for the Receptive Will

• I define value and what is truly valuable on my terms.
• I decide for myself what is valuable and construct a life that reflects my values.
• I trust in Source and the flow of sufficiency in my life.
• I know I have a unique, vital, and irreplaceable role in the Divine Plan.
• I follow my right path in the fulfillment of this right place, and I trust I’ll have all I need to fulfill my purpose when I need it.
• I enter into all agreements according to my strategy (responding from my Intuitive Center)
• I make promises and commitments very carefully, deliberately, and only according to my strategy (responding from my Intuitive Center)
• I have nothing to prove and I value myself deeply.
• I fearlessly expect others to treat me according to my exceptional value and do the same in return.

Sound frequencies: listening while meditating on affirmations (or simply repeating them) can help with finding balance and healing.

Contemplations

    1. For each Gate above, are there any relationships that stand out to me as influencing me toward novice expression? Toward wise expression?
    2. Are there any expression descriptions (novice or wise) that I’ve noticed I only feel or experience around a certain person or people?
    3. For each Gate above, are there any ideas or beliefs that were instilled in me by others while I was growing up?
    4. Are there patterns from childhood that I’ve repeated in my adult relationships and/or choices?
    5. Are there any patterns, beliefs, relationships, or circumstances that I want to change or release? Any that I want to cultivate or expand?
    6. Do I question my value?
    7. What am I trying to prove?

If I want more insight, I can always request a message from the universe.
