In tarot: Synthesis, growth, creativity, abundance, collaboration, friendship, artistic expression, refining plans, preparing to take action; unity and group activities are emphasized; refined plans set into motion at the 1 and 2 levels; initial achievement of your goals. ~from “Power Tarot” by Trish MacGregor and Phyllis Vega

Chakra Wisdom
by Tori Hartman

Trickery (Kelly Green): The deliberate tempter is as guilty as the thief.

A story: Kelly the Green Dragon has one jumbo-sized acorn to get him through winter. Squirrel spies the huge acorn and decides he just has to have it to win the forest’s annual acorn contest. To tempt Kelly, he fills a basket with rocks and scatters acorns on top. Kelly feels the weight of the basket and steals it, allowing Squirrel to grab the single acorn. But they both lose: Kelly now has less food and Squirrel is disqualified from the contest for cheating.

Insight: Notice here that there may be manipulation because of a fear of being rejected. There is no evil intent, only a deep desire to be loved. This card may also indicate that you should practice asking for your true heart’s desire rather than fearing someone else’s resentment.

Inspiration: During trying times, things may be easier if you ask for help. Don’t be disappointed if assistance does not come from the place you expect.

Personal Inquiry: Am I afraid to tell the truth? How does that fear lead me to manipulate others? What do I really need to say? My responses to the following ideas: dance of scarcity, coveting possessions, vulnerable heart, self-honesty, accusing others, hidden motives, vision, honesty, greed.

Meditation: Who do you identify with? Squirrel, the trickster who deliberately tempts with falsehood, or Kelly, the greedy dragon who’s eager to grasp the illusion that’s offered? The one who manipulates due to fear or the one who allows themself to be manipulated due to fear? When you close your eyes, which one comes forward? Whoever it is, ask them what they’re afraid of. Listen, then ask Spirit for guidance. The guidance may come during your meditation or at a later time.

Chakra Reading Cards
by Rachelle Charman

17: Inner Child

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

Our inner child and our ego are deeply intertwined; the fears of our ego originate primarily from wounds experienced as a child (including our adolescent years). Healing those wounds and caring for our inner child goes hand-and-hand with integrating our ego with our higher self through love. Let your higher self be the loving, attentive parent that every child deserves to have (including you). We are so much harder on the child we were (and still carry with us) than we would ever be on a child we care for. Treating yourself the way you would treat another child is a big step toward embracing the idea that you are just as worthy and toward loving yourself the way you deserve.

Describe one way in which you didn’t receive the care you needed and wished for as a child, as big or small as you’d like to reflect on. Then describe a way in which you can treat yourself the way you should’ve been treated then. Next (or instead), describe what “play” means to you.

Engage in at least one activity each day that feels like play for you. Observe the impact this has on you.

Affirmation: My Inner Child is free to express love and joy.

Wild Unknown Alchemy
by Kim Krans

XIV (14): Yellowing

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

Keywords: aging, transition, warning

Imagine a rainbow with no yellow. The colors remain static, disconnected. The gift of yellow is the bridging of all phases, the full expression of life’s spectrum.

Yellow rides a fine line. In art, the color is often interpreted as cheeriness covering turmoil, as seen in the late paintings of van Gogh.

Look at Terry O’Neill’s photographs of David Bowie in 1974.

The message describes the various meanings of yellow, as well as yellow being an indicator of transition. Which meanings do you resonate with now?

Since yellow also signals transition, can you see any ways that you could choose to transition from a “negative” meaning to a more positive one?

I embrace the energy of transition, knowing it is serving my highest good and that my willingness to go with the flow and grateful acceptance for any lessons gained will help me manifest my dreams.

  • The ability to cultivate a deep relationship with the Divine Muse.
  • To nurture the inspirational fruits of the Muse and to serve as a steward for an inspiration by aligning the idea energetically and preparing the way by laying foundational action and building.

Unshakable Inner Peace

5: To receive, you must release.

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

Divine Assignment: As you step away from what no longer serves you, you are being asked to shatter illusions of separation, which is why you may feel as if so much is crumbling around you. Use this time to reflect and realign. Go inward and really get clear about who you are, what you stand for, and what matters most to you. When you are aligned with your truth, which is love, you have nothing to fear. Remind yourself: things aren’t falling apart – everything is simply falling into place.

What can I let go of? What do I want to receive?

Consider the statement “…you can go astray and you can get lost, but that is the only way one grows.” Apply this to your own life, especially from the perspective of self-forgiveness.

Everything I’ve done while lost has enabled me to grow. Being lost has been as vital to my journey as finding my way and made the finding so much more valuable.

Quantum Tarot
by Lo Scarabeo

V – Heirophant: Newton’s Laws of Motion

The Hierophant represents orthodoxy and tradition, the accumulated wisdom of our culture.

Newton’s three laws of motion are the foundation of modern physics. Until Einstein’s theories of relativity, they were believed to be universal and absolute. The three laws describe the interplay of physical forces between objects and their environment. The Hierophant represents spiritual tradition and in older decks is portrayed as the Pope. Isaac Newton plays this role in the Quantum Tarot, for his theories represent the bedrock of tradition upon which all 20th and 21st century physics has been built.

The Hierophant requires that we acknowledge and respect tradition. His authority may be less earthly than that of the Emperor, but he has behind him many generations of accumulated wisdom. He offers us a firm foundation for our endeavors – we just have to be careful that this firmness and solidity do not become too rigid and intransigent.

How is tradition informing your behavior? Identify ways tradition creates a foundation for you and/or may hold you back.

46: Water Spirit – Manifesting Dreams

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

Divine and Spirit want you to know: Water flows in cycles, and right now you are in a cycle of manifesting your dreams. Don’t stop the flow by doubting or hesitating. Allow your emotions the freedom to be expressed. Timing is everything, and right now is your time.

Affirmation: Right now is my time to receive the manifestations of my dreams. I am worthy and deserving!

33: Miracle

The image, as explained by the guidebook: All images are based on sacred geometry, and sacred geometry works at the soul level. It can be felt deeply, activating parts of us that are subconscious and multidimensional. The energy of the Activations interacts with your energy. Energy blocks can be dissolved and new connections can be made, allowing room for new insights and perspectives. Activations are catalysts for transformation; they are visual, multidimensional meditation tools. Through sacred geometry (color, patterns, light), Activations create a bridge between sight and soul that supports your journey inward – the growth and expansion of your consciousness. All you have to do is focus your attention on the image and allow its energy to do its magic.

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

The frequency of Miracle supports our belief in ourselves as a part of Source and, therefore, our belief that anything is possible.

Do you believe in miracles? Have you experienced anything that was miraculous? What miracles do you want to happen in your life? What are you doing to make them happen? Do you realize that life is full of miracles, including every child that is born, every breath we take, and every flower that blooms? Can you think of 5 Miracles that you experience every day?

Affirmation: As a child of the Divine, miracles are my birthright, and I receive them with gratitude.

5: Her Hand Gentles the War

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

Allow Me to help you, for there are times when battle builds strength but also times when it no longer serves a constructive purpose and war needs to end. For you, the battle within has served its purpose, and if it were to continue, you would be worn down needlessly. It can be easy to become so engaged in the struggle that you don’t realize there is a way beyond it. I do, however, and I am moved to offer you My merciful and compassionate intervention. Whether the war is in the heart, the mind, the body, or the world, call for My hand, and I shall bring relief.

How could this message be offering guidance for manifesting your dream?

  The Healing Process:

(You can replace any of the entities addressed in these prayers with the terms that are the most meaningful to you.)

Say this prayer, silently or aloud, three times:

“Divine and Spirit, who love me without condition, may Your hand gentle the War. I ask for the grace of your intervention, protection, and liberation. Please help me drop the conflict I am holding – consciously or unconsciously – within myself and in the world. May the touch of Your gracious hand prevent further violence. May the wisdom of Your light reveal a superior way to resolution. May the power of Your gentleness prevail over fear and ignorance. May the mercy of Your heart bring clear guidance and divine inspiration to those who suffer and are in need of sweetness and consolation. Through my own free will, so be it.”

You have completed your healing process.

Blind Spot
by Teal Swan

Advanced Practice: Shadow

10: Denial

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

The image, as explained by the guidebook: The artwork was originally painted by hand by Teal Swan while deep in trance states. Each card acts as a berth for a specific Sigil. The difference between a symbol and a Sigil is that a Sigil is not representing anything. Instead, the Sigil itself is like a body for a specific essence, entity, or Spirit. Each Sigil has the capacity to influence you (like a teacher or guide) and make you aware relative to the specific blind spot it has chosen to be assigned to. You are asked to invite the special essence of the Sigil into your life in order to help you.

Consider this message in the context of all the messages in this set. Did you feel resistance to any of them? If so, that may be the aspect of denial that Spirit wants to bring into your awareness. If considered as guidance for manifesting your dream, could some form of denial (denying your own potential or abilities, for example) be blocking your manifestation?

While using this set, see if you can identify the sensation of resistance that occurs when denial is happening. See if you can identify what you are denying and accept the truth instead. You don’t have to act on that truth if you aren’t ready: simply recognize the denial and consciously embrace truth instead. You may find that what you feel in response is not what you expected.
