Chakra Wisdom

Perseverance (Carrot-colored Cloak): Don’t quit before the miracle.

A story: Shannon’s carrot-colored cloak is a gift from a famous stage actress, and she wears it always as a symbol of her own talent. One day, frustrated by the sacrifices she has made in her long pursuit of success, Shannon throws off the cloak and gives up her acting career. The Great Goddess tries to convince Shannon to put the cloak back on and stay the course, but she doesn’t listen. Just around the corner, had she persevered, was great success.

Insight: This card refers to movement and true feelings. Focus on that which supports you. You may have a heightened emotional state and this card can inspire or discourage. You are being offered a way of getting something back on track.

Inspiration: When we do our chosen work, we are serving the highest order; if we stop, we upset the universal balance. What you work toward will materialize. You may not see it, but it lies ahead.

Personal Inquiry: Can I ignore the feelings that would sidetrack me? Will I let go of fear and persevere? My responses to the following ideas: breaking through, unseen help at work, feeling taken for granted, overcoming doubts, steadfast, success, miracles.

Meditation: Imagine yourself walking along a path, wrapped in a cloak. You reach a glass wall. Through the glass, you can see your goals. Step forward and pass through the wall. Your cloak falls to the ground, staying with your past. Let it go. You do not need it anymore.

The message for this card touches on nearly every other message in this set in some way. In what ways does the idea of currently being in a “cocoon” phase resonate for you, especially in combination with the other messages in this set?

Take a moment to connect with your inner voice and listen to what your soul is sharing with you.

Affirmation: I am completely supported in my current rebirth, and I am open to the magic of the universe birthing within me.

Crystal Power Tarot
by Jayne Wallace

I: The Magician

The Magician is at work, performing a ritual. The tip of his wand touches the infinity symbol, signifying his connection to universal energy. His left hand points downward, bringing celestial energy to Earth. On his table are his resources – the sword, pentacle, cup, and crystal wand, which represent the four suits of the tarot’s minor arcana. In the center of the altar is a citrine crystal ball, empowering the Magician’s intention to manifest what he desires.

The Magician brings energy to any situation. The card tells you that now is the time for action (or the time for action is imminent); you will receive messages, offers, and even long-awaited news. In work and personal projects, you may feel inspired to bring a dream a step closer to reality. As every area of life speeds up, travel is also auspicious under the Magician’s influence. Overall, positive and dynamic change is in the air.

Citrine brings the gifts of energy, optimism, prosperity, abundance, clear communication, and good financial decisions. It is linked with the solar plexus chakra, for personal power and vitality. Citrine is a manifesting stone – a crystal you can wish upon to attract and bring whatever you need. Focus on the citrine crystal within the card whenever you need to bring your dreams into reality.

In what ways does this message ring true for you? How do you feel about it? Given the other messages in this set, this card can be considered reassurance that what you’re waiting for is near and that this time of waiting is preparing you for the active period you’ll soon enter. Although this card brings a message of action, notice how many phrases refer to receiving and attracting. Do any of them stand out to you more than others?

Affirmation: I manifest perfectly what I desire.

Keywords: the culmination, the broad view, generosity

This card nudges us to look at the big picture. It’s a time to reflect back on the journey you’ve just completed. Free-form writing and sending notes of thanks serve you well.

There are many names for this sacred elixir: soma, nectar, aqua vitae, aqua nostra, and vinom ardens, to name a few. Remember, dreams are the mother tongue of humanity.

Fall is related to the Earth element and the cardinal direction of the West. You may be reminded of distant relatives or ancestors. Welcome them into your harvest celebrations.

Donate. Any amount (of any resource) will do.

Consider that a time of receiving rest and healing can also be considered a harvest.

 Meditate on active generosity.

I come to fruition and then release.

Gate 20: Patience

Challenges:

  • To be patient and master the ability to wait.
  • To be prepared and watchful but resist the urge to act if the timing isn’t right, or if there are details that still need to be readied.

Mastery:

  • The ability to trust your intuition, to know what needs to be set in place, what people need to be gathered, what skills need to be mastered, and to be ready when the time is right.
  • To trust in the right timing and to heed the intuition to get ready.

Expression when unbalanced:

  • To act before the time is right.
  • To fail to listen to your inner guidance and prepare.
  • To feel pressure to take action before the time is right and to feel frustrated or to quit.

  Resiliency Keys and Further Contemplations:

  • What needs to be healed, released, aligned, and brought to my awareness for me to fully express my Authentic Identity? For me to prevent and/or heal from any burnout? For me to strengthen my trust in my intuition?
  • How do I manage my need for action? Am I patient? Do I trust in Divine Timing?
  • Do I trust my intuition? Are there situations in which I find it more challenging to trust my intuition?

I am in the flow of perfect timing. I listen to my intuition. I prepare. I gather the experience, resources, and people I need to support my ideas and my principles. When I am ready, I wait patiently, knowing that right timing is the key to transforming the world. My alignment with right timing increases my influence and my power.

The goldfish is often seen as a symbol of abundance with its iridescent golden hues. It spends much time gliding gracefully through the water, without worrying about whether the next goldfish it encounters shines more brightly. The goldfish serves as a reminder to be happy with your own lot in life without comparing yourself to those around you.

Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.

  Divine Assignment:

Now is not the time to rush ahead, for things are happening behind the scenes and aligning for you. Trust the process and allow yourself to relax and do less. Practice being patient by slowing down. Now is a good time to rest, take sea salt baths, journal, meditate, or connect with your Spirit guides. There is great power in pausing and showing the universe you trust it by releasing your need to know or control the outcome. Everything will make sense soon, but your higher self is urging you to take this time to regroup, re-evaluate, and rest, for you will need the energy for your next phase.

What have I been forcing, and how can I let go of the outcome?

Quantum Tarot
by Lo Scarabeo

8 of Cups – Nuclear (Radioactive) Decay

The Eight of Cups represents the desire to break free and walk away, leaving everything behind if necessary.

Although most atomic nuclei are stable, heavier nuclei have a tendency to decay. The strong force binds the atom together, but the particles within it are in a constant state of agitation. There is a small chance that a group of 2 protons and neutrons (known as an alpha particle) might break away. The 8 of Cups reflects this agitation towards breaking free. The synthesis of the Eights manifests as a new level of emotional maturity, and this can manifest as the need to move away from an unhealthy situation or relationship. The pile of 8 empty cups signifies the old emotional baggage that we leave behind.

What are you ready to move on from? Consider how 8 of Cups provides guidance for overcoming the shadow aspects of 10 of Swords (above). An ending, release, or surrender of some kind of typically required for Rebirth (above). Consider that the personal power of the Magician (above) could manifest as choosing to experience an ending with 8 of cups or 10 of Swords energy.

Blind Spot
by Teal Swan

Advanced Practice: Shadow

43: Assumptions

       Listen to card description:

(If player doesn’t load, click here to access audio file)

The image, as explained by the guidebook: The artwork was originally painted by hand by Teal Swan while deep in trance states. Each card acts as a berth for a specific Sigil. The difference between a symbol and a Sigil is that a Sigil is not representing anything. Instead, the Sigil itself is like a body for a specific essence, entity, or Spirit. Each Sigil has the capacity to influence you (like a teacher or guide) and make you aware relative to the specific blind spot it has chosen to be assigned to. You are asked to invite the special essence of the Sigil into your life in order to help you.

What are you assuming? What are you accepting as truth even though it is simply an assumption? Compare this message to the message of the Child (above).

Consider this message in the context of all the messages in this set. Does it resonate with you? Are there ways in which assumptions could affect the energy with which you experience this time period?

While using this set, see if you can identify ways in which this message applies. If you catch yourself making a negative, self-defeating statement that you can’t prove is true, write it down. Follow it with at least three alternative positive, self-empowering, and/or encouraging statements that could also be true about the situation (whether or not you can prove them true). Continue writing as many of these as you choose. Has this exercise changed the way you feel about the situation?
